Annapurna Sanctuary Trek 13 Days Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Our guide will pick you up at the airport, then take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is reserved for your rest.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara:

You’ll drive to Pokhara by tourist bus enjoying an afternoon sightseeing on way to Pokhara. From Kathmandu to Pokhara, it is about 206 KM and takes around 6 hours. You will enjoy boating in the evening. Spend a night in Pokhara.

Day 03: Pokhara to Ulleri.

You will drive from Pokhara to Nayapol. The trail passes through villages like Naudanda, Kanre, and Lumle.

After reaching Nayapool, the trail descends steeply to Birethanthi and follows the East banks of Bhurungdi Khola, and Tikhedunga before reaching Ulleri.

Day 4 Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,750 m/ 9,020 ft): 4 - 5 hours trek

From Ulleri, the trail ascends through small villages and passes and the rhododendron forest. After, you will arrive at the top of Ghorepani where you will stay the night.

Day 5 Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,700m/8,860ft) with a visit to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,529ft): 6 - 7 hours

On this day of your 14 Days Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, you watch the spectacular sunrise and start to trek to Poon Hill. From Poon Hill, you can see more than 30 white–capped Peaks and the whole Annapurna range. After this incredible experience, you walk through the forest to reach Tadapani, where you will stay the night.

Day 6 Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170m/7120ft): 6 hours trek

Tadapani offers you the chance to catch an incredible view of the upper Modi Valley. The route starts with long ascents above the west Bank of Modi Khola from Sinuwa. From here, you can see the incredible Mt. Machhapuchere.

Day 7 Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m/7578ft): 4 - 5 hours

Early start today.. After breakfast, you begin the trek by walking down stone steps. From here it is a hard climb to Sinuwa. Next, you pass through a beautiful forest and then take an easy downhill walk to Bamboo.

Day 8 Bamboo to Deurali (3230m/10,595ft): 3 - 4 hours

You get up early in the morning, have your breakfast and roam around for some hours to observe the spectacular scenery of the surroundings. Then, the trek is around 4 hours until you reach Deurali, passing through the damp and cold bamboo forest.

Day 9 Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,545ft) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m/12135ft): 5- 6 hours

Your 9th day of 14 Days Annapurna Sanctuary Trek starts with an early morning excursion to Deurali. From Deurali, you’ll be presented with another spectacular view of Annapurna south and Dhaulagiri Peak, which is the highest mountain in western Nepal. You will then have lunch and trek to the Annapurna Base Camp passing through Fishtail Basecamp.

Day 10 Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 - 8 hours

The Annapurna Base Camp offers you an awesome opportunity to explore majestic peaks. Make sure you get up early in the morning and walk around for 10 minutes to observe Mt.Annapurna 1, Mt.Annapurna South, Himchuli Peak and Fishtail mountain. After capturing a few photos, you will make the trek to Bamboo.

Day 11 Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m/5770 ft): 5 - 6 hours

Today, Annapurna Sanctuary Trek’s route ascends to Jhinu Danda. After having lunch at Bamboo, you start to trek down to the Jhinu Danda, enjoying the rain forests and farm lands on the way. It is an uphill trek to Kuldighar followed by a simple walk to Chhomrong Khola. You walk over the stone steps to Chhomrong, which then descends to Jhinu Danda.

Day 12: Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara: 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive

It will take around 6 hours to reach Nayapul from Jhinu Danda. From Jhinu Danda, the trail descends steeply for an hour to Phedi (Pokhara-Baglung Highway). From here, you will take a 30 min drive to the hotel at Pokhara for an overnight stay.

Day 13: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
