Flying to Kathmandu on a clear day is itself an exciting experience. You will enjoy the exotic scenes of the snow-capped peaks. For your convenience, our support team will pick you up at the airport and escort you to your comfortable hotel. The rest of the day is reserved for rest.
Kathmandu is the cultural and historical center of Nepal. Kathmandu showcases the perfect mix of Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism and western influence. The day starts with an excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley.
You pack up and catch the earliest possible flight to Lukla. Upon reaching the cliff hanging Lukla airport, you meet our guide and start to trek above the Dudh Koshi River valley. Your first night is spent in Phakding village.
You keep on walking along the edges of the Dudh Kosi, crossing the grand river several times via thrilling suspension bridges adorned with enchanting prayer flags. After a short walk, you reach Monjo, an entry point of the Sagamartha National Park. From here the path ascends steeply to Chautara, providing you with spectacular views. Leaving Chautara, you walk more than one-hour to reach Namche Bazaar.
Your Everest Panorama 11 Days Trek’s fifth day is a rest day for acclimatization and exploration. Namche is the capital of the Sherpa people and holds a very busy market. Here you can pick up souvenirs and gifts for your dear ones. You can take the short hike to Everest View Hotel to check out the stunning views of the grand Himalayas, including Everest and Ama Dablam.
From Namche, you continue climbing up alongside of the moving glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi with remarkable scenes of the giant peaks. The Tengboche village offers you the chance to explore the ancient Tengboche monastery. Here, you get to view incredibly rich wall hangings, musical instruments and a sculpture of the Buddha.
11 Days Everest panorama Trek’s trail is mostly downhill today. Following the same route, leaving the peaks behind you, your descent takes you to the Namche Bazaar.
Today is your last trekking day. In the evening, you have a few celebratory drinks and dance with your Sherpa guides, porters and new friends.
You pack up early and catch a flight back to Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, our support team will escort you to your comfortable hotel. The rest of the day is free for your leisure.
