The 7 Day Langtang Helambu Trek offers you the chance to bask in the splendor of giant mountains, beautiful flora and fauna and rich local culture. You will also get to visit the sacred religious shrines and alpine yak pastures.
After your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport, our support team will pick you up and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is reserved for your rest.
After breakfast, you take a one-hour drive to Sundarijal, where you will begin your trek. You walk for around 7 hours along the rhododendron woods and Tamang ethnic settlements to Chisopani, where you spend the night.
From Chisapani, you commence your trip to Kutumsang. You start todaystrail with a gradual descent, then cross the beautiful meadows and terraced fields. You get to experience spectacular views of the Langtang Mountain from the trail.
You keep on walking until you reach Pathi and GulBhyanjyang. From GulBhayanjyang, the route takes you to another pass. From here, you descend down to Kutumsang to spend the night.
Here, you climb up along a steep trail to Thadepati. Passing through rhododendron and fir forests, you keep on walking to Thadepati via YurinDanda, enjoying the Panoramic views of the Himalayas.
You get up early in the morning and start your trek to Tarkeghyang. Your trail descends down until you cross the MelamchiKhola. Further on, you ascend up to Tarkeghyang passing through fascinating Sherpa villages and antique monasteries.
Today, you take an easy walk to Sermathang through the fascinating forest, past streams and cascading waterfalls. The route curves around the wide valley and ends between Parachin and Gangyul Sherpa villages. After reaching Sermathang, you will explore the local’s lifestyle and pay a visit to the sacred Buddhist monastery.
On day 7, you descend down for around 4 hours to Melamchi Bazaar. From the Bazaar, you will be driven back to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is reserved for rest or you can enjoy walking the streets of Thamel.
