A village located in the hill of the valley, Nagarkot, has breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset. Chitwan National Park is also listed as a UNESCO’s Natural Heritage site. Famous as the city of lakes, Pokhara charms its visitors with its natural beauty.

The introductory tour of Nepal comprises of the best places the country has to offer. It includes the rich art and architecture of Kathmandu, which is distinctive. Introducing Nepal 9 Days Itinerary

Your tour will start with sightseeing around Kathmandu, followed by a jungle safari in the wilderness of Chitwan and eventually come to an end amidst the natural beauty of Pokhara.

Day 1: Arrival In Kathmandu

You will land in Kathmandu. A representative from our company will come to receive you at the airport and take you to your hotel to be briefed about the program of the ‘Nepal introduction 9 day tour.’ Later in the evening a welcome dinner will be hosted for you, where you will be served Nepalese cuisine. You will be spending the night in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing In Kathmandu

The second day is dedicated for sightseeing of the UNESCO World Heritages sites in Kathmandu. On this day you will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar square, which is rich in art and architecture and represents the craftsmanship of medieval times. The Durbar Square is a reflection of the Malla dynasty of the 12th to 18th century.

The next destination on the sightseeing list of the day is Swayambhunath stupa, which is famous among tourists as a monkey temple due to the dominance of monkeys in the area. The Buddhist shrine located on the top of the hill possesses a beautiful view of Kathmandu city.

Another stop for the day is Pashupatinath temple, which is located on the banks of the Holy River, Bagmati. Its main attraction is the temple of lord Shiva. Many Hindus pay homage to the temple every year. Your next stop will be the stupa of Boudhanath, which is one of the largest stupas in the world. The shrine is the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Patan and Bhaktapur And View Of Sunset From Nagarkot

After having breakfast, you will start your day by visiting Patan Durbar Square. The art and architecture of the city symbolizes the rich culture and craftsmanship of ancient times.

The tour will take you to the next destination, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which has maintained its authentic local lifestyle over the centuries. The main attractions of the durbar square are the intricately carved 55 window palace, Golden gate and Nyata Pola. You will be thoroughly enjoying the local delicacy of Bhaktapur.

After the sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur, you will be driving towards Nagarkot, which is popular for the amazing sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. After basking in the beautiful views of the sunset, you will be spending the night in Nagarkot.

Day 4: Sunrise From Nagarkot And Drive Towards Chitwan

You will be waking up early to enjoy the views of the sunrise from Nagarkot. After having breakfast, you will be heading towards Chitwan, which is 175 kilometers from Nagarkot.

Upon reaching Chitwan you will be relaxing in your hotel followed by a briefing about your stay in Chitwan. The beautiful view of the sunset from the bank of River Rapti after walking through jungle of Chitwan will captivate you. Dinner along with a brief cultural program and tribal dance, distinctive to this region, will mark the end of day.

Day 5: Chitwan National Park

Today is scheduled for an excursion in Chitwan National Park. Early in the morning you will start your elephant back jungle safari ride through the dense grassland. The national park is the homeland of endangered animals, including the one horned rhinoceros and royal Bengal tiger.

In the afternoon, you can take part in bathing the elephant during a visit to the stable. You can also drive through the jungle followed by canoeing in the River Rapti. Canoeing increases the chances of having a closer look at animals like Mugger crocodiles, Gharials, otters, freshwater dolphins and many species of birds.

You may go on a nature walk or bird watching to get closer to the wildlife of the National Park.

Day 6: Drive Towards Pokhara

You will be travelling towards Pokhara, which is 134 km from Chitwan. On the 4 to 5 hour long drive to Pokhara, you will be passing through subtropical jungles followed by the fields of Chitwan. The landscape will gradually change into hills, terraced farms and small settlements. Upon reaching Pokhara, the beautiful Himalayan ranges like Annapurna, Manasulu, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre will greet you.

You will check into your hotel and rest. Later, you can stroll the streets of Pokhara.

Day 7: Sightseeing In Pokhara

Early in the morning you will head towards Sarangkot, which is overlooking the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The hill of Sarangkot has an amazing sunrise view over the Himalayan ranges. After a beautiful morning you will head back to Pokhara for sightseeing.

You will be sightseeing in the popular tourist destination of Pokhara. Activities and sights on this day include including Davis Fall, Shiva Cave, boating in Phewa Lake, and Bindyabashini Temple. The tour in the Tibetan refugee camp will show you how the production and trade of woolen carpets and handcrafts keep them busy.

Day 8: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

You will be bidding goodbye to Pokhara and heading back to Kathmandu. The 6 to 7 hours journey will take you past the river banks, and through wonderful hills. To celebrate the completion of the journey there will be a farewell dinner in Kathmandu.
