The capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu is connected to Nepalgunj via airways and is approximately an hour-long flight from the capital. If you seek a cheaper alternative, then you need to travel 12-14 hours via car or public buses to reach Nepalgunj.
You will drive approximately five more hours to reach Sauli which is the starting point of Karnali River rafting. During the drive you will be treated to incredibly picturesque views and quaint villages. You will get to explore the village before the night approaches.
On the second day, you will receive a brief safety instruction lesson before commencing the real rafting trip. The trail of rafting will take you through the wilderness of Karnali and will challenge you with rapids and rough water. The technical expertise needed to overcome the challenges will leave you full of adrenaline. The day will end on a riverside camp.
Day three trip will be highly challenging!. You will pass through untouched jungles and have a thrilling ride through incredible gorges and technical rapids. The day will end at the God-House area, where you will set up camp.
While rafting, you will get to witness several rough areas and challenging rapids. The excitement will escalate as you encounter the height of the white water from where you will dip into the river from the rapids. Yet another a day full of adventure will end by camping in the Seti Dovan area.
