Football Coaching Volunteer
Do you love football and want to make a real impact in Uganda? Are you excited to dive into Ugandan culture while using your coaching skills to help young Ugandan girls? Would you like to support aspiring young Ugandan girl football players while gaining valuable coaching experience?
Despite its vibrant culture and natural beauty, Uganda faces many challenges as it develops. Many teenage girls here dream of playing football but struggle due to limited facilities, equipment, and training opportunities.
Economic difficulties and cultural barriers often prevent families from supporting their daughters' sports dreams, leaving many talented girls without a chance to shine in football.
Global Crossroad’s football coaching volunteering program for teenage girls in Uganda aims to change this. In the heart of Africa, many girls have great potential but are held back by their surroundings. Your role will involve helping with daily training, organizing activities, and planning outings. You’ll also assist with fundraising to support the program.
Football can bring unity and empowerment, and we want to make women's football a bright spot in Uganda. By volunteering, you’ll help lay the groundwork for women’s football in communities like Mpigi District, providing local girls with:
Top-Quality Sports Gear: Football kits, boots, balls, and training materials.
Detailed Coaching Training: Football skills plus important life skills.
Administrative Support: To help teams grow and succeed.
Join us in helping these girls achieve their football dreams! Contact Global Crossroad Volunteers today to get involved.

Uganda has been issuing electronic visas (e-Visas) since July 1, 2016. If you get an e-Visa, be sure to print it out and bring it with you.
