Your participation in the Zimbabwe orphanage project leaves a lasting impact on a society confronting numerous hardships. Joining this volunteer program is a wonderful way to share your love, passion, and efforts with the children in desperate need.
Volunteer Responsibilities & Impacts
The Orphanage in Zimbabwe serves as a compassionate haven for vulnerable children affected by poverty, disease, and parental loss. International volunteers have a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on these children's lives by dedicating their time, skills, and support. Activities range from teaching and organizing educational events to providing emotional support and assisting with daily chores.
Volunteers actively contribute to various tasks, including cooking, laundry, play/story time, cleaning, yard work, and farm-related activities such as planting, ploughing, weeding, and watering, particularly on Saturdays. This comprehensive approach is designed to positively influence the physical, emotional, and educational development of the children.

We welcome applications from individuals, regardless of formal qualifications. The key attributes we seek are flexibility and patience, especially when working closely with children.
