Proposed Schedule
Arrival in Bangkok (1 night)
The day it all begins. Our in-country staff will meet you at the airport and take you to a hostel/hotel near the famous Khoa San Road, right in the center of Bangkok.
Travel to project location for volunteer project (6 nights)
This is where the heart of the program is: helping people. You have the choice of either working in an elephant orphanage in Sanghklaburi or in a building project to help construct an orphanage as part of the D*R*E*A*M House Development Project in Surin. This is the time to engage yourself into Thai culture and meet locals.
Relax and Explore the Regional Beaches (6 days)
Relax on the pristine beaches of Kho Pa Ngan, Thailand's most famous island for beach parties, sun and relaxation! You will spend five nights at a beautiful beach resort as you enjoy the island's beautiful, dazzling beaches, full-moon parties and tropical paradise. What more could you ask for?
Travel back to the capital city for a farewell in Bangkok (1 night)
Participants will spend one final night in Bangkok and say farewell to fellow volunteers and new friends.

Global Crossroad's volunteer program in Thailand application and registration fee cost US $299. The application fee covers the cost of advertising, program promotion, and office expenses (rent, utilities, and staff salaries in USA office).
In addition to the application fee, you are required to pay a weekly program fee . You will pay your weekly fee directly to the country coordinator, who in turn will allocate it to your host family, project and other in-country support we offer to our volunteers. This way, the fees that you pay will benefit those who rightfully deserve them, and not for company profit.
